What’s your because?

Why should anyone care about what you do - what you say is a problem?

You want me to give you my money - why?

What’s the ‘because’ that makes you think I’ll want to give... to risk being embarrassed... to link my reputation and friends and identity...??

I get your ‘that’ - you need my money so that you can do what you think is important to you... but can you please show me why you need me... besides you needing my money?!

(If you do that, I’m yours - if you don’t, I don’t trust you so I’ll only give you some money to make you go away - no community, just a few dollars for you while I wait for someone who can give me a real ‘because’.)
