So, what kind of writer are you?
This matters because not all writing is alike, not all writers are alike, and not all success in writing is alike. Supplying copy when no one else can or does is measured by the success of having words on a page. Period. Fulfilling a copy need in technical field to satisfy those who are considered experts in the field, means meeting their expectations. Period. Sounding like someone - a voice or a personality - is ghostwriting for narcissists or influencers too busy or unable to create their own copy. Success is meeting their expectations of how they think they sound (or should sound). Period. Persuading outsiders, customers, supporters, audiences other than the one paying you to write is writing with empathy for those who might one day - if treated well - want to become part of what an organization or business does. Period. Now, you call yourself a writer - so what kind of writer are you? And if you're hiring a writer - what kind of writer do you really need to hire?
