Vitamins, minerals, supplements - all great, day-in, day-out additions to a healthy regimen.
But when a throbbing headache is our problem, we'll turn the world upside down to get relief. If you're half way to work and you've forgotten your daily vitamin, you'll just get it later... or tomorrow. But with that headache, we will alter our course and pay-up (instead of looking for a good sale) to end the pain. This is the difference between selling and marketing. Selling improves (or promises to improve) our quality of life. Marketing solves our problem. Or, put it this way: Are we a 'nice' or a 'need'? Are we 'nice' to have around, or do people 'need' us to be around? Comments are closed.
