Most of the creative world makes what it can or wants to make, and then tries to market it.
Most of the nonprofit world does or serves what it can or wants to serve, and then tries to raise money to make it possible. But the successful find out what people want and give them that. They see a problem and build, create, serve, and build a community around those who have money but don't know how to solve their problem. And successful nonprofits serve to connect those who have time but no money with those who have money but no time - uniting them in a community where mutual but different problems are solved together in ways they can't be solved apart. Create what you want and wonder if you'll succeed. Or find out what people want and provide that. Comments are closed.
