The Land of Skills

Skill is too much like talent... and just as rare.

Skills (plural) is something different - a hybrid of blood, sweat, tears and maybe a little talent or skill thrown in for something extra.

Skills are found in effort, practice, sending, shipping, posting, sharing, publishing, uploading - and skills are where you will find most of your mistakes.

Or what you call mistakes... things you notice but very few even catch. You don't like that sentence, you notice the wrong date or awkward transition, or you know you can do so much better (but for some reason you didn't).

Skills are where your humanity and failure and success have to live... because they don't live in the land of perfection or talent.

Skills make all the difference... and that scares us so much that too many never even vacation in the land of skills.
