Yes, yes, of course you mean well.
But how many feel that accusing nonprofits of wasting energy and money by not solving a problem is somehow a slam against the hungry, homeless, vulnerable, abused, ignored and/or persecuted you serve? If you’re immune to criticism because you’re ‘doing good’ then you won’t be ‘doing good’ much longer. And get over yourselves - you’re not hungry, homeless, vulnerable, abused, ignored and/or persecuted - the people you serve are. Is it even possible to be successful in your mission? What would success look like? And would you be out of a job? And wouldn't that be a good thing... or what every other person in the world would call success?! Comments are closed.
