I'll admit it - I'm reluctant to congratulate, praise, and promote an organization's successes.
Why? Because most smaller, successful businesses and nonprofits are too often run by narcissists... and narcissists feed off the kind of recognition their staff needs.
So, I segment my praise... make it personal... but won't allow it to appear in my copywriting that anyone outside the office might see.
I'm overcompensating and I know it. Segmentation is my only action plan.
And that might not be good enough.
