My Calendar

This may explain a lot about me... I don't 'keep' a calendar.

But I have a few calendars... some overlap a bit too much but I never miss anything that way.

And I've gotten over needing to feel important (and busy - they're the same thing for most of us), by filling-in every detail of my daily calendar.

But if I don't 'keep' a calendar, doesn't my calendar keep me?

No, because it's not my keeper, my sovereign, or my identity.

But for many of us (and for me once upon a time), my calendar was my identity.

But I'm done with that... for now....
