You hate it, she hates it, they hate it - everyone pretends to hate it...
So why do mission-driven organizations - businesses just as much as nonprofits - do so much mansplaining? This may be the institutional vestiges of the mission patriarchy, but they all do it. Every time we're tortured by the About Us and What We Do and Who We Are focused messages - explaining how important, unique, vital, needed or sacrificial they are - this is mansplaining. No one (at least not me), wants to endure another update about your mission, vision and values. We want our worlds changed and to change the world for others. Can you talk about that please?
