Good marketing - do you know what it is when you see it?
It will do one of two things - sometimes at the same time in different areas of our work. It will drive new interest and engagement to help do more of what's working for our businesses and organizations. Good products, good services, and good customer service will be even more obvious and we'll love the injection of energy and engagement to do more, sell more, and serve more. And/Or, it will show what's wrong, what's missing, and what we've taken for granted. If we have an inferior product, lackluster customer service, or misplaced attention the new attention good marketing generates will make it difficult to hide. We'll be exposed and something will have to change - either in us or in our marketing.
