Maybe your passion isn't found in the hallowed halls and traditional degrees of higher education.
Maybe you're just not cut-out for academic life and fulfilling requirements and tests and studying and jumping through old-fashioned hoops like majors and minors. Great... just don't expect it to be easy for you... for the foreseeable future that is. The recent average unemployment rate for college grads (late 2019 and projected to be consistent in 2020 - or EVEN BETTER) is 2.2%. The average for high school diploma holders is 3.7% and is estimated to jump to over 5.0% in 2020 (we'll see). Those who make over $60,000 annually actually maintained or improved their money story in 2020 while those below were hurt at a dramatically higher rate. So, maybe college isn't for you... just don't expect that to make it any easier for you... for the foreseeable future... or ever. Comments are closed.
