Asking Questions

We're all just guessing... and hoping that our past successes (and failures) will steer us in the right direction today and tomorrow.

But as the investing disclaimer reminds us: Past performance is not indicative of future results.

So we ignore that because it's easier to repeat than it is to do the really good thing: Ask.

Asking questions takes curiosity, vulnerability, and tests our willingness to respond.

Do we have what it takes to react to the answers we get when we ask?

That's what keeps us from asking.

And that's what keeps us from knowing.

Asking open-ended questions takes courage.

And that's why it's so rare in comms and marketing today.
