There are no secrets, tricks, manipulation, or deception. People want or care about the same thing we want or care about, offer, defend, or pursue.

And we're not just on parallel paths - we're on the same path... occupying the same lane even if we're at different mile-markers. There's really no doubt we're truly aligned.

This is the dream scenario for businesses and organizations - mission-driven or profit-driven, it doesn't matter.

And it just doesn't exist in the real world... but we can't seem to get beyond it - this Alignment 1.0 - this fantasy where everyone agrees with us and we seem to deserve their attention, loyalty, and money.
