A male culture problem

Scarcity creates competition, jealousy, us vs. them paranoia, and it’s killing mission-driven organizations.

Mostly because males still dominate the C-suites of these orgs, but it’s still a BIG problem in all nonprofit, good-for-good, and community organizations.

That is, scarcity is the culture of self-obsessed, we-first, we’re-worthy because we care, we sacrifice, we are martyrs orgs may be typical of male-culture but it’s what’s wrong with most mission-driven cultures.

In the meantime, don’t think that women in the C-suite solves the culture problem of narcissistic orgs - it doesn’t end scarcity... it just shows how ingrained the problem really is.
